3. Learning from our Dreams.
Dreams are probably the best natural resource we have for our own self-discovery.
By now you should know that the metaphysical journey is a personal journey of inner discovery. Dreams tell us what we are thinking beyond our everyday consciousness. If you choose to harness the important information contained in your dreams you will experience tremendous growth and discovery in your personal life.
A great technique for true self-discovery is recording your dreams. Once again, each dream you have can be used as a tool for discovering your deep, inner nature. Each dream contains many different, valuable hints which can tell you a lot about your true nature. If you simply recall the dream in your mind for a few minutes in the morning before the memory is seemingly lost you will completely miss most of these hints each dream contains.
The best technique I have found for learning from your dreams is to simply write down almost as much information as you can recall instantly upon waking in the morning. It is very important you keep a pen and some kind of notebook near you when you sleep.
Once you start writing you will begin to remember more and more details. This technique helps you to remember parts of the dream which you probably would have instantly forgotten and it leaves you with a written record of your dream. Make sure to keep your “dream journal” somewhere safe, as it is very important that you read it from time to time. This will illuminate the hints that it contained. Each person is different so they will have unique symbolism and meanings in their dreams.
To sum up, record your dreams and read your dream journal from time to time! There are so many benefits from this which you will personally realize when you actually do this.
Take advantage of the dreaming your body automatically does every single night.
