1. Quotes:
“People take different roads seeking fulfillment and happiness. Just
because they're not on your road doesn't mean they've gotten lost."
-H. Jackson Brown, Jr.
“Optimism is the faith that leads to achievement. Nothing can be done
without hope and confidence."
-Helen Keller
"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things
that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the
bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbour. Catch the trade winds in your
sails. Explore. Dream. Discover."
-Mark Twain
“The greatest danger for most of us is not that our aim is too high and
we miss it, but that it is too low and we reach it."
-Michaelangelo
2. Our Beliefs and Ideas Create What We Find In Our Past
I would like to expand upon two ancient metaphysical principles:
1. There is no such thing as time (which quantum physics is supporting)
2. We create our own reality
I always had a hard time excepting the first one as truth. I use to wonder about such questions as…
If there is no such thing as time then what is the past and the future?
Also, if we can change our future by acting now, can we change our past?
After years of searching, I was able to completely understand how there is no such thing as time and the answers to these and other common questions. Basically, there is only the present point (the “Now”). Other than this the past and the future are illusionary, they simply do not exist. If this sounds like nonsense to you, please take a few minutes to try to understand my perspective...
Many people find it easy to believe that, moment-to-moment, we are creating our future (by the actions we take in the “now”). But many people have a hard time understanding that moment-to-moment we are creating our past as well (also by the actions we take).
All of our actions are decided by our beliefs/thoughts. Therefore it is our beliefs/thoughts that are continually creating the past and future for us to experience in the “now”. But, we are not creating the past/future; instead we are choosing from among the infinite parallel reality futures/pasts that we could experience. Therefore our beliefs continuously choosing which parallel reality becomes our past.
What we find from our past (artifacts, fossils, etc.) are simply from the past we chose (through our beliefs) out of the infinite parallel realities. Therefore, our beliefs/ideas create what we find from our “past”. The importance is that once we find something from the “past” in the present moment what we find affirms what we believe. Therefore our beliefs make that chosen past stronger. Than we continue to find more stuff from “that past”, which once again affirms our belief. This cycle creates a more “concrete” past.
Sorry, this may be getting a bit confusing, but the following example should clear this confusion up. A good example of this is found in the brief article “The Biggest Dwarf Ever” by Anne Wootton, which you can read here:
http://www.discover.com/issues/sep-06/rd/dinodwarf/
It is the mass belief that “creatures have a tendency to shrink when trapped in small areas with limited resources” therefore we find evidence from a parallel reality, which becomes our past (that was chosen by that belief). Finding this evidence reaffirmed our belief and made our past more “solid”.
So next time you assume something happened in the past, realize that with each belief/thought/action you are continuously affecting the past just as you are the future…

3. Inspiration: In India, a Maid Becomes and Unlikely Literary Star
Abandoned by her mother at 4, married off at 12 to an abusive husband, a mother herself at 13 — there is little in Baby Halder’s traumatic childhood to suggest that she would become an emerging star on India’s literary horizon.
A single parent at 25, struggling to feed her three children by working as a maid for a series of exploitative employers, Ms. Halder had no time to devote to reading or to contemplating the harsh reality of her existence until she started work in the home of a sympathetic retired academic, who caught her browsing through his books when she was meant to be dusting the shelves. He discovered a latent interest in literature, gave her a notebook and pen, and encouraged her to start writing. “A Life Less Ordinary,” this season’s publishing sensation in India, is the result of her nighttime writing sessions, squeezed in after her housework duties were finished, when she poured raw memories of her early life into the lined exercise books.

4. Would You Like to Learn Pendulum Dowsing?
It is almost essential for all metaphysicians to learn how to use a pendulum. A pendulum is a body suspended from a fixed support so that it is able to swing freely. It the most common dowsing tool.
This ancient tool is the most effective way I have found to access my intuition and validate answers that I get from various other sources. Pendulums can also be used to find lost items, help you in making any decision, find your way when you are lost, understand when you are being lied to, etc… The applications for this method are infinite.
To learn everything you need to know about using a pendulum check the best online resource I have found for this here:
Everything You Need to Know About Pendulum Dowsing
Please take the time to read all of the information in it. I have found enormous value in it, and I am sure you will too. Best of all, it is absolutely free! Enjoy…
